Drinking? Never drive.

In 2024, Queensland recorded its worst road toll in 15 years, with 302 lives lost, with drink driving still a major contributor. Transport & Main Roads needed a campaign that cut through complacency and made the consequences impossible to ignore.

So we brought back ‘Consequences Cans’ for a second iteration. A range of beers named after what’s really at stake, like ‘Dead Mate & Dry’ and ‘Smashed Skull & Soda’. Across TV, social, radio and OOH, every drink came with its outcome. If you drink and drive, this is what you’re choosing.
